2004 very well could be the year the year you decide to get up off your hiney and do something about that terrible flooring that you have in your house! "It's too big of a mess to change," or "It costs too much" are some of the arguments. After you finally get'r done though, you stand back and say, "Wow...that looks great," or, "What the heck took us so long to do this!" Granted, remodeling our homes can get a little messy, and sometimes contractors and handymen don't always live up to the customers expectations. I know, I've hired some doozies myself. I adhere to a strict schedule and am very conscientious about the work I do. My motto is...wait, I don't have a motto, but if I did, it would be, "I'll fix your house, like it was my house." Just ask my Mom!
It's not my favorite, but I paint. I paint interiors and exteriors. Oil base or Latex. The most important part of painting is preparation. Exteriors must be pressure washed , holes must be caulked or patched and dry rot must be repaired before any painting can happen. After the surface is clean and smooth, primer is then added for your paint to bond to, giving your paint a better luster and making it last much longer. Finally, only the best materials are used when I do a paint job. Like my Dad always said, "You get what you pay for!" It's so true. Even if I am not able to earn your painting business, don't skimp on the materials for your home.
